Darold Clark's passion for working with his hands and wood dates back to his early childhood when he can remember going with his Grandfather to tear down old barns in order to salvage and reuse the wood for other purposes around his grandfather's farm. Shortly out of High School, Darold attended trade school at Watertown Vo Tech and graduated with his certification in Carpentry from there in 1989. He then went on to work for Gray Construction Company located in Watertown, SD for a couple of years until deciding to go out on his own and start his small family owned  and operated construction business. Darold has approximately 32 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked on all kinds of construction projects from building smaller projects; a chicken coop, city park gazebo, porches, to building larger projects like; Pole Barns and Houses from the ground work up. Remodeling and restoration are some of Darold's favorite types of projects. Darold is the Head Carpenter and Site Manager of all projects. You will find him right in the thick of things with a hammer in one hand and a pencil stuck behind his ear. When you contract a job to be done with DC Construction OR, you are getting the work done by the owner himself, as He is the business. His motto has been and always will be that "No job is too small".
